Whisk is an independent, ad-free journal based in Berlin. Born from the collaboration between editors Amelie Varzi and Maria Paris Borda, and art directors Lucy Pullicino and Emely Wensky, Whisk is all about mixing and stirring creative genres to uncover new ways of approaching ambivalent matters.

The opening issue of Whisk delves into distraction, its “forgotten virtues”, and restorative qualities. Unfolding over 130 pages. It features seventeen contributions, including a guide to daydreaming in public, a three-way conversation about distraction in the artist studio, an essay on the guilty pleasures of celebrity gossip, an interview with the founders of WindowSwap, a visual essay about walking as a performative artistic practice, and so much more.
